What online auction platforms will my items be sold on?

Your items will be sold through one or more of the following online platforms:

Wellers Auctions, EasyLiveAuctions, The-Saleroom, iBidder or BidSpotter.

How long will it take to be paid out for my items once sold?

Once the auction has concluded we aim to make payment settlement after 28 working days. In certain circumstances, payment may be recieved sooner.

What happens if some of my items fail to sell?

If any of the items you have consigned to auction fails to sell, we will put the unsold lots into the next available auction (if applicable). If this is not possible, you will receive a call regarding what the next steps will be, whether you are required to collect the unsold items or alternative methods that your items can be sold.

Can items be sold from my premises?

YES! We have several options available…

We can conduct a whole auction at your premises, with the option of holding both a physical and online auction or just an online auction, with a live video/audio feed of our auctioneers.

Alternatively; items can be moved from your premises to our main site in central Guildford, Surrey and sold from our warehouse facility (subject to space and availability).

What type of auctions can my items be sold in?

Your items can either be sold Live and Online, which would involve physical buyers in addition to bidders online (using a video/audio feed). We can also host this auction Online Only which is currently the preferred bidding method amongst bidders at present.

Alternatively; your lots can be sold in a Timed Auction which involves lots closing using a staggered countdown method, with a time auto extension if bids are received during the final 60 seconds (sniping is not possible on any of the online auction systems used).

Are there any restrictions on the type of lots that can be sold?

In short, there are no restrictions. We can sell almost any items no matter if its big or small. We have sold everything from small individual items to whole/partial building structures.

The only items that are illegal to sell in the UK include certain types of knives, ivory, puppies and non-expired tickets for travel.

Will I be required to pay for auction advertising?

Depending on the type of asset and the type of auction route chosen in liason with our professional team, it may be beneficial to select one of our bespoke marketing packages.
