3 Day Stock Clearance Auction of Building Materials & Supplies, also Inc. Architectural Salvage on behalf of Ransfords Building Supplies, Hosted by Wellers.
Wellers are excited to announce our fourth architectural auction of 2019 which will be held over three days at the end of November. The auction will take place on Thursday 28th, Friday 29th & Saturday 30th November at Ransfords Building Supplies in Daventry, Northamptonshire. The stock clearance auction will have around 4,000 lots and is filled with all different types of building materials which will be sold via BidSpotter.co.uk on the Thursday and Friday, whilst on the Saturday there will be copious amounts of architectural pieces for you to get your teeth stuck into, and this will be sold on The-Saleroom.com.
As this is a stock clearance, it is expected that much of the stock is there to go, and we are hoping to have a busy three days of auctioneering, and with around 4,000 lots heading into auction there will, as usual, something for everyone, whether you are a trader after building supplies or an end user looking for that specific type of product or reclaimed piece. Make sure you save the dates as you won’t want to miss out on this amazing collection of items.
The type of lots you can expect to find on the first two days of the auction will include the building materials and supplies, all of which are worth noting that they are all in excellent condition and are ready to be used on whatever project you may have in mind. There are various different types of bricks including London yellow sandstone brick, London multi yellow brick and various reclaimed handmade bricks of varying colours, styles and sizes which are all separated onto pallets and are mainly of equal quantities. There are both single and double bullnose bricks, plinth stretcher, well bricks, plinth header, cant and quarter nose brick, single and double concave, façade panel as well as stepped bricks to name a few. Some of the building stone found on site includes limestone, stone-york, and brown iron-stone.
You will also be able to pick up bags of rockery stone, oak beams, railway sleepers, reclaimed timber such as scaffold planks and tons more. There are pallets and bags of garden edging, granite sets, kerb stones, paving stones, mill stones, pier caps, stone spheres, quality York stone paving, and various roof tiles Inc. pan tiles.
On the Friday you will find more of our architectural pieces. There are also various different types of doors, there are more chimney pots than you could possibly imagine, all of which are in excellent condition and have been stored inside and well protected since they have been with Ransfords. You will have the opportunity to also bid on fire surrounds and baskets, fire dogs, hoppers and post boxes. There is also an old British telephone box that would be perfect for the garden either left in its original condition or bought at auction as a restoration project! There are various different cast iron radiators, sanitary ware including basins and toilets, Staddlestones, stoves, statuary, street lamps, troughs and cast iron columns.
Viewing for the auction is available Tuesday to Saturday between the hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm, with the first day starting on Tuesday 12th November, with all three days of the auction starting from 9:30am. Bidding for all three days of the sale will be available in person at the auction or online using BidSpotter.co.uk for the Thursday & Friday, with The-Saleroom.com used for the Saturday which will include the more decorative items.

All purchases must be paid for and cleared by Saturday 14th December, deliveries can be made by or arranged yourself, and there may be the opportunity that Ransfords can make some deliveries however; this is best to speak to them directly.
