Online auctioneer of the year shortlist.

Wellers of Chertsey are one of only eight UK salerooms to be short-listed for the ATG Online Auctioneer of the Year award, the only Surrey auction house to have made the grade. Other contenders are Christie’s South Kensington, Baldwins London and a number of Northern auction houses. The shortlist is based on nominations from a survey of online buyers at the saleroom.com.

Buyers were questioned about helpfulness of staff before a sale, this includes good cataloging and providing accurate condition reports so that buyers have confidence in what they are purchasing. Also the skill of the auctioneers in conducting the sale clearly.
